Saves Money
You get a pair for the price of one average wiper blade! They work very well and clean the windshield quietly and very effectively. Sure, you can spend $50 for two whole wiper arms and they'll still last only 6 months. For half the cost of even a cheap wiper arm, you can afford to replace them more often which is safer. I like to give a bit of overhang on the sides where the wipers won't interfere so more of the glass gets cleaned. Bottom line: Bring on the bad weather.

Getting harder to find these anymore...
...and the picture is often wrong (when I purchased the picture was of a suspension link.) But they fit great in our Audi's original wiper arms, with the trapezoidal shape. It's very nice to get two wiper blade insters for the cost of one whole blade nowadays.

The adjustable windshield wiper refill
I have an old Chevy Suburban that needed some fresh windshield wiper blade refills. I went to the local auto supply shop and they naturally carry all the current blade refills, for newer cars, and I was out of luck. It was approaching the rainy season and I was in need of a solution. I searched on line and found the solution I wanted and needed. You simple clip the refill to the desired length, blades have pre-measured marks on the supports, and slide them into the blade holders. It was that easy. I am ready for the rain....bring it on.

Bought these blades as part of a 2-for-1 deal. They are easy install, much like any other wiper blade. They're supposed to offer superior wiping performance. I don't know if they're superior to other brands I've used, but they have been good in both wet and snow. What I don't care for is the mount, in the middle, where the blade connects to the wiper arm. It is a little boxy in shape, larger than what is on other blades, and it is a distraction when the wiper is working -- there's this square black block going back and forth right in the middle of my line of sight as I drive. Used on passengar side
This blade is being used on the passenger's side front windshield. It installed much easier than 'regular' blades I've used before-no pulling, pushing, and wiggling to get it to fully snap into the wiper arm. It does not contact the glass all along the blade as it should but does a very good job of cleaning water off very quickly. The only area where it misses is the far right bottom of the wiping area, it's about a 3inch wide by 3inch tall area that it misses completely due to the windshield being curved. It's not an area that you really look through, but a 'regular' blade wipes there. I'll have to wait to see how it handles snow, ice and slush. Perfect for 2008 Ford Escape
These were a direct OEM fit for my 2008 Ford Escape. Sure others will fit using universal connections which can create a more bulky connection to the wiper arm. I had a set of blades from Walmart on last time, I think the Michelin Radius, and the connection was much bulkier and it took me literally 20 mins to figure out the right combination to install them using the OE Top-Lock installation. These Valeo's installed in literally seconds with a simple "click" because they are direct fit top-lock replacement. I'm very satisfied with the quality and price. Top to learn more

Superior blade
Valeo is standard equipment on pricey cars. They are far superior to wiper blades with brackets. They last longer and really clean the windshield without streaks or smears. Cost more but worth it. Top to learn more

Fits, but not identical OEM replacement
These blades fit the same attachment as the originals on my 2008 Ford Escape, but they are not identical to the Motorcraft blades. The profile is smaller, the blade arm is not as wide and is missing the aerodynamic profile of the original blades. The far/top end of the passenger side blade is also not resting against the glass (the Ford blades had a slightly stronger curve to them.) Hopefully in the wind and rain the blades will clean as much of the glass as the originals. Top to learn more

A couple of days ago the viscous fan started to "roar", or more correctly, when the engine is at idle, most often now I hear a roaring noise from the front somewhere which I assume is the viscous fan coupling acting up.
