I own several books on Series Land Rovers and this one is a much loved volume in my workshop reading and reference library. As someone who is currently restoring a 64, SWB, Series 2a from the rolling chassis up, I can say without any hesitation that this book is every bit the masterpiece.Whether you are a novice starting out or an old hand looking for a good general restoration guide this book covers many areas in detail that some of the workshop manuals don't. This book is chock full of photographs with easy to follow text and is full of brilliant advice on all things Series Land Rover. I cannot recommend this work highly enough as I have found it fills the gaps that my other manuals don't.Contents include detailed discussion of Heritage, Buying and what to look for in various models, the pitfalls of different models and the like. Stop Looking
If you are ok with crystal clear 6.5" high and mid bass sound that is not packaged in a standard whitewash grill then look no further.Knowing now what a difference these upgrades made to my system I would happily have paid full price but getting them for $80 with free shipping to the door from Amazon... What a deal!I am running them straight off my deck (basic Dual CD) with no crossover so I can only imagine what running them through an amp/crossover would make.The only thing I would recomend is being a bit cautious when driving the stainless screws - two stripped out pretty easily. I just used two original screws from the old speakers so it created no hassle for me.

Very Impressed
I put these in my boat several weeks ago to replace my marine JBL speakers and I am very impressed. I can't believe that I thought those old speakers sounded good. The sound quality of these blows them away. The bass is great, too. They are a major improvement to what I had. I would highly recommend these speakers.

Very Nice
It took me some time to install these into my boat. I call it my upholstery apprenticeship. I know why custom upholstery costs so much now. It looks sweet now and sounds even better. These speakers sound so clear, even at excessively high volumes (OH MY!) I hooked them up to the Sony marine CD player CDXM60OUI. I couldn't be happier.

Now you can pack everything!
This rack was easy to install. The box is bulky - there is no way to get around that, but it is light weight, so that added in the ease of installation. The directions that were provided were thorough and easy to follow. The pictures were large enough to look at with ease. It was easy to compare the pictures with each step as you proceeded through the installation. It would have been possible for one able bodied person to install, but it was much quicker to put together with an extra set of hands. (My 9 year old daughter - who is tall for her age - was able to help me put it together. If you are planning a long trip - plan to put the things that you don't need to get at during the trip in the cargo box. Because the box is on the roof of the car, it isn't the easiest place to access your belongings. But it is WAY better than having everything stuffed in the car. At the end of our trip it was easy to disassemble the box and put it away in storage. The hardware can be stored... Top to learn more

Installation with the Easy-Snap Mounting System
Installation and/or removal of the Excursion Rooftop Cargo Box from your rack is easy and fast via Thule's Easy-Snap mounting system. This tool-free mounting system allows you to attach your rooftop box to virtually any roof rack in minutes. Each corner of the Excursion ES has a series of four pre-bored holes aligned along the length of the box. Included U-bolt hardware is slid up from the bottom, across the crossbars of your rack and into two of these four holes. Once through, the hardware attaches to one of the four supplied Easy-Snap clamps. Simply twist the top of the clamp for a secure hold that you can count on, and easily remove as you please. Also included as part of this system are four rubber gaskets to protect the box's finish, and vinyl hole covers to protect block the holes not in use. Because of the pre-bored holes, the Excursion ES requires a minimum spacing of rack crossbars of 23⅝", and a maximum spacing of 31".

Solid carrier
Got it quickly and, once I tinkered a tiny bit, it installed quickly. It is capacious and fairly solid. I did notice a little sag in the middle between the two car-mounted support bars - perhaps they are too far apart for this carrier? When I restowed material it seemed better. Good Sound for the Price
I put these into my 2001 Silverado a couple of weeks ago and they sound good. I have pushed them pretty hard with my amp settings and they take a lot of power before they start to distort. I definitely recommend buying these unless you want competition kind of sound which 99% of us do not. Top to learn more
Pyle Drive Gear 6 1/2" Speaker Component Kit
I drive a vehicle with four 6 1/2" speakers in it. There's room for tweeters in the vehicle, but the OEM system did not have them installed. The foam surround of all 4 OEM speakers had rotted away and of course they sounded terrible. I found these Pyle Drive Gear Speaker Kits and couldn't believe the price break. I also liked the individual driver design. I ordered one Kit and installed it in the front of my vehicle. The difference was astounding. So astounding that I ordered another kit and installed it in the rear of my vehicle. I how have four 6 1/2" woofers & 4 tweeters running through the enclosed crossovers that make it sound great and they're only running off the OEM sound equipment! All that and Amazon free shipping to boot! I'm extremely satisfied, would do it again, and recommend these speakers. Top to learn more

Great kit for the money! Sounds very clean...good tweeters too
I bought these to go into my 1996 Tacoma Extended Cab.Unfortunately they didn't fit into the door spaces (without spacers which I hadn't bought and was lazy), since the 6.5" woofer has a very nice large and deep magnet.So I decided to install them into the side rear panels in the extended cab. They installed in no time, as all necessary pieces are included, including the wires with precrimped ends for both the tweeter and woofer.I have these running of a JVC MoSFet deck pushing 30X4RMS and they sound great, had to turn the LOUD feature off as the base was rattling the panels, as Toyotas are made of plastic.I just found out I could have bought some 1" spacers to make the woofers fit in the door...oh well...bought some seperate 3-way speakers for the fronts...probably won't sound as good...we'll just have to see...I am installing the 3-ways tomorrow...The Pyle woofers look great, with the yellow surround...You also... It’s a very simple job to install a PTO, simply remove the PTO cover ( also known as Rear Bearing Housing – 533731) on the back of the gearbox, slip the PTO sleeve over the rear gear, remove the PTO inspection plate and bolt on the selector unit... This unit takes power from the rear of the gearbox and can supply power to the rear of the vehicle via a separate propshaft (if you have ever wondered what the holes are for in the chassis cross members then they are for the PTO shaft).
