Like high end Rockports
As far as I can tell, these shoes were a one shot and unsuccessful attempt to capitalize on the name Land Rover in the world of footwear. They appear to have been made in 2008. Then they got stuck in a warehouse somewhere. But the facts are that these are Italian designed and made shoes of high quality, lined leather. Their list price is about 40 percent higher what you should pay for a nice shoe like this retail, but you can find them at various discount shoe places for a small fraction of the list price. That's what I did.The leather is better than what you typically find on Rockports or Eccos. The construction quality is solid. I'd never buy a Land Rover car, but for a walk-around everyday shoe good for going to work, this is a good buy.
